Abstract

“Geologi Daerah Warkapi dan Sekitarnya Distrik Tanah Rubuh Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan Provinsi Papua Barat” Geographically, the research area is located between 1○8'00”- 1○12'00” South Latitude and 134○5'00”- 134○9'00” East Longitude with geomorphological conditions divided into two units and one deposit, namely Hills-Tersayat Topography Strong Danudasional, Strong undulating topography- Denudational Hills, and Fluvial plains. There are Denditric, Parallel and Trelis flow patterns, There are channel bars and point bars, there is a "V"-shaped river for the young river stage and the letter "U" for the adult stage. The stratigraphy of the research area can be grouped into several rock units and the oldest and youngest sedimentary sequences. Andesite Units, Breccia Units, Sandstone Units, and Alluvial Deposits that are not in harmony with the older units. The structure of the research area has scouring joints with the main force direction N 60, and the structure that develops in the study area is a right-down fault. The positive potential of the research area is that the product of origin rock can be used as building material, while the negative potential of the research area is prone to landslides.
