dc.description.abstract	The properties of mangium (Acacia mangium Willd.) bark from Jayapura and Manokwari were investigated. Extractive and tannin content were conducted according to the height of the tree and depth of the bark (the outer-middle-inner). The result show that the bottom level of Acacia magium Willd. trees contain a significant amount of extractive and tannin (adjusted Stiasny value). The average tannin content of bark samples from Sidey, Manokwari was higher than the sample from Hinakombe, Jayapura	en_US
