Tas Tradisional yang Berasal dari Beberapa Jenis Pohon dehr Kehidupan Masyarakat Pulau Roswar, Teluk Cenderawasih, Papua Barat

Abstract

People from Roswar Island have used piant for many advantages like food, medicine, material for traditional' instument, building material and othen. Traditional bag is one of the traditional instnrment that are made from few planls e.i Pandanus teclorits; Hibiscus tilioceus: Hibiscus sp; Premna corymbosq qnd Trema orientalis . Although ca,me bom different species and part of plarts, all producs are made by same t{ay that is called "ayaman tikar,'. Most surrounding area using different plantloo e.i Cypet'us sp, Gnetum genemon and, Phaleria macrocorpa but it is also made in the same way. Indegenous knowledge of Roswar island people in making their bags or choice the kinds of woody bark and coloring are discussed more in this paper, including their modem treatment to make thet traditional things increasing in economic value.
