Produktivitas serasah jenis mangrove (Avicennia marina dan Sonneratia alba) di Pantai Dosa Kabupaten Manokwari

Abstract

Litter productivity is an important part in the transfer of organic matter, because the nutrients produced are important for the fecundity of aquatic ecosystems. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of mangrove litter and the relationship between DBH and productivity of mangrove litter Avicennia marina and Soneratia alba in Dosa Manokwari Beach. The method used is a litter trap. Based on the results of the research, the total productivity of Sonneratia alba mangrove litter is 479,753 g / m2 / 30 days where the flowers are 21,806 g / m2 / 30 days, leaves 204,788 g / m2 / 30 days and branches 186,577 g / m2 / 30 days while Avicennia marina the total litter production is 158,309 g / m2 / 30 days where the flowers are 4.019 g / m2 / 30 days, leaves 134.877 g / m2 / 30 days and twigs 19.413 g / m2 / 30 days. The correlation value between DBH and the productivity of Soneratia alba litter, the correlation value (r) was 0.82, which indicates a high relationship between DBH and mangrove litter, while for Avicennia marina litter, the correlation value (r) was 0.11 which indicates no the relationship between DBH and mangrove litter productivity.
