Abstract:
Zinc and phosphorus are essential nutrients with low bioavailability in calcareous soils. In order to improve the solubility of these elements, plants will exudate organic acid such as citrate and malate. The objective of this study is to observe citrate root exudation from lupin and rapeseed that were plated in the Zn and P deficiency condition. Both lupin and rapeseed cultivars exuded citrate only under phosphorus deficiency.
