Abstract:
The research was cunducted at Unipa’s Screen House that aim to study on effectiveness of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) inoculation to increase of coffee seedling P uptake that Ayamaru Phosphate Rock (APR) aplication. The study was carried our for 16 weeks after planting under 60% of shading net. The treatment of APR consisted of 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 g P2O5/plant and 2 g P2O5 SP-18 as a comparison treatment. Acid soil which was collected from Tanah Merah-Manokwari was used as planting medi, while the coffee seeds were obtained from the Coffee and Cocoa Research Centre, Jember-Jawa Timur.
The coffee seedling which were inoculated Mycofer was positively correlation increase the dosage level of APR i.e r > 0.45. AMF indigenous r > 0.65 and without AMF r > 0.46 respectively. Compared with indigenous AMF, Mycofer inoculation were improve dry shoot weight was 35.44%, P content 77.32%, and P uptake 44.14% while compared with control was 112.21%, 167,76% and 146.47% respectively. Inoculum Mycofer consisted of specieses i.e Gigaspora margarita (INVAM-105), Glomus etunicatum (NPI-126), Acaulospora tuberculata (INDO-2), Glomus manihotis (INDO-1) on the other hand AMF indigenous from Manokwari consisted of A. tuberculata Janos & Trape, A. scrobiculata Trappe, and G. aggregatum Schenck & Smith.
