Abstract:
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are business units that have large scale industrial enterprises and have the advantage to absorb more labourers and also able to accelerate the equity process as part of development. This study objective was to analyze the effect of level of education, productivity, and wages on the absorption of labor on tailoring business in West Manokwari District, Manokwari Regency. The analytical method used is descriptive statistics with reference to the questionnaire. The respondents were labourers in the sewing business in Manokwari Regency with a total sample of 40 workers. Multiple linear regression analysis was then performed to determine the effect of these factors on labor absorption. The results showed that simultaneously the variables of education, productivity, and wages have a significant effect while the partial analysis showed that only educational variable has no significant effect on the absorption of labor of sewing business in Manokwari Regency
