The aim of the observation was to identify the arbuscular mycorryza fungi (AMF) which associate with Agathis labillardieri Warb. at The State University of Papua Arboretrum, Anggori. Two hundred grams soil sampel from rhizosphere were taken from 10 three years old Agathis seedlings growing under of Agathis labillardieri Warb. trees. This trees were 30 years old that planting at are 1.0 ha. AMF spore was found by wet sieving process using four levels spore sieve namely 45 µm, 75 µm, 125 µm, and 250 µm. Spore speciments were made by using PVLG and MelzerÕs reagent and observed by using dissecting and stereo microscope. The result of identification found that there were three genus of AMF which assisiated with Agathis at Anggori Arboretrum. Acaulospora genus consists of four species namely Acaulospora cf. foveata, Acaulospora cf. morrowae, Acaulospora cf. bireticulata, Acaulospora cf. mellea. Glomus genus consists of two species namely Glomus cf. a ggregatum, Glomus cf. luteum, while Sclerocystis consist s only one species namely Sclerocystis cf. ‘lenticular thickening’ . |
