dc.description.abstract Until now, the genetic diversity of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) from Papua is still based on morphological observation. This study aims to analyze genetic diversity based on RAPD markers and determine the sugar content (glucose, fructose, and sucrose) of sweet potato clones from Papua. The results showed that the samples used had glucose levels ranging from 0.0050-0.1073%, fructose 0.0083-0.0655%, and sucrose 0.2283-0.4528%. The genetic distance between plants varied from 39.6% to 72.2% and in the difference coefficient, 54% of the samples were separated into four groups. en_US
