Abstract:
Papua Indonesia in the Western side of New Guinea Island is known as the wide distribution site of Ant plant. However, it is also known that the plant had been extensively harvested over time. As such, the information of growing site of Myrmecodia plant is significantly required to culture the plant in the future. Sub-district of Warmare in Manokwari district is known as one of the distribution site forMyrmecodia sp. Such species lived by sticking to plants with coarse profile plants such as Dodonea vicosa, Melicope sp, Litsea sp, Homalanthus sp, Mallotus sp and Glochidion sp.
