Efek Fraksi Ethanol Air Rumput Kebar (Biophytum petersianum KLOTZCH) Terhadap Diferensiasi Leukosit Kelinci Hiperlipidemia

Abstract

Giving fraction of water ethanol kebar grass expected to reduce triglycerides and cholesterol in the blood of rabbits and rabbit improve physiological conditions. Profile of white blood cells are often used as an indicator to determine the health status of an animal. The purposed of this study was to know about the benefits of water ethanol kebar grass fraction of the leukocyte differentiation hyperlipidemic rabbits. This study used eight male rabbits with the age of 8-10 months. Experimental method was used by using completely randomized design with the control treatment was a rabbit in a state of hiperlipidemia (commercial feed was given yolk 0.5 ml and coconut oil 0.5 ml) and water treatment ethanol fraction (hyperlipidemic rabbits were given a fraction of the ethanol water 5 ml / day with an average body weight of 60 kg). The results showed that the control treatment and the water ethanol fraction kebar grass in hyperlipidemic rabbits eosinophil cells are found only as much as 5.0 +- 12.67% (control) and 6.5 +- 3.67% (water ethanol), heterophile 43.0 +- 1.89% (control) and 2.01 +- 43.75% (water ethanol), lymphocytes 52.0 +- 2.74% (control) and 49.5 +- to 2.50% (water ethanol) and monocytes 0.25 +- 0.25% which was found only in water ethanol fraction, while the basophil cells was not found. There was no significant interaction between control treatment and water ethanol fraction on persentase eosinophils, heterophile, lymphocytes and monocytes hyperlipidemic rabbits
